Jimmie R. Young

Jimmie R. Young, age 89 of Winfield, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Huntsville Manor. He was born December 30, 1929 to the late Gus Sr. and Marie Lawson Young.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his long-time partner Bea Terry; brothers Walter and Gus Young Jr.; and infant daughter Patricia Ann Young.

He is survived by his sons Jimmy Terry and wife Felicia Bilbrey of Oneida, William Alan Terry and wife Amy of Calhoun, GA; sister Joyce Taylor of Hopkinsville, KY; niece Mary Ann Bohall; nephews Kendrick Taylor and Steve Young; grandchildren Nick Terry, Megan Terry, Sydney Terry, Jacob Terry and Jonah Terry; several great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Young family on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. James Roberts officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sunbright Cemetery in Sunbright, Tennessee with full military honors provided by American Legion Post # 136 of Oneida.
