Randy D. Cooper

Randy D. Cooper, age 61 of the Leatherwood Community of Oneida, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Everybody that knew Randy knew he loved the Lord and he is in Heaven rejoicing, waiting on all of his loved ones to join him.  

Born on April 17, 1958, he was preceded in death by his step-father:  Conds Slaven; son:  Keven Darrow; and brother:  Rodney Cooper.

Randy is survived by his wife:  Teresa Acres Cooper; daughters:  Trish Sexton of Deer Lodge, TN; Cindel Anderson and husband Brandon of Oneida; son:  Travis Owens and wife Edrie of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, whom he loved dearly and was so precious to him:  granddaughters:  Lauralei Faith Sexton, and Kalani Rhea Owens; grandson:  David Braicen Anderson; mother:  Mary Jo Slaven; very special aunt:  Vonnie Watson; a cousin who was like a sister:  Judy Wilson and family; uncles:  J. B. Cooper, Therman Cooper and wife Stella; his church family whom he loved:  Black Oak Baptist Church and Leatherwood Baptist Church; and many other family members and friends who will miss him.
 
Friends may visit with the Cooper family on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Kidd, Bro. Kyle Keeton and Bro. Crestin Jeremy Burke officiating.  Music will be provided by Junior and Doris Potter.

Committal service will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery in Oneida, TN.
