Richard Dean 'Rick' Douglas

Richard Dean ‘Rick’ Douglas, age 64 of Winfield, TN, departed his earthly life for his heavenly home on Monday, November 25, 2019 at his home.  Born March 21, 1955, Rick was the son of the late Cecil Ray and Olive Pauline Douglas.  Rick was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Rick is survived by 3 brothers:  Dale, Danny and wife Misty, and Kevin Douglas; nephews:  Adam and wife Dedra, Dustin and wife Julie, Rhyne and wife Olivia, Logan and wife Christin; nieces:  Tara Douglas and Ray’ven Johnson and husband Tyler; great nephews:  Casen, Ethan, Gage, and Mason; great nieces:  Adyson, Braeleigh, Kenlee, Aliyah, Ashlynn, Emilia, Ella Mae, Emilee, Laiklyn, Vivianne and Ada; special friend and caregiver of 11 years:  Susan King and Sara Free; Quality Hospice Nurse Brenda Smith; as well as many other loved ones and friends.

Friends may visit with the Douglas family on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Campbell and Bro. Chris Sewell officiating.  Music will be provided by Chris Sewell.

Committal service will be Thursday, November 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chitwood-Douglas Cemetery in Winfield, TN.  Pallbearers will be:  Adam, Rhyne, Dustin, Logan Douglas, Joey Chitwood and Dudley Crabtree.  Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Ethan, Mason and Casen Douglas, and Gage Duncan.
