Obituary
UPDATE: A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at The Inn at Timber Rock Lodge, 22153 Alberta St, Oneida, TN 37841.
Alan Reid Davidson, age 65 of Helenwood, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family. Born April 12, 1956, in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Paul and Wanda Jean Terry Davidson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Brian Reid Davidson; loving mother-in-law: Ernie Litton, and father-in-law: William Litton; grandparents: Horace and Gertie Davidson, and Nathaniel and Mayme Reed Terry; dear aunts and uncles; special nephews: Wade Litton and Caleb Nathaniel James; special niece Julie Goodman; and special sister-in-law: Alice Rayburn.
Alan is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years: Gina Litton Davidson; children: Brooke Davidson Murley and husband Daniel of Helenwood, TN, Megan Jean Davidson-Russ and husband Kaleb of Knoxville, TN, Jessica Elizabeth Buttram and husband Josh of Huntsville, TN; grandchildren: Ethan Xavier Davidson, Baylee Dee Buttram, Harper Shae Buttram, and Reagan Elizabeth Buttram; siblings: Karen Denise James and husband Bruce, Michael Paul Davidson, Terry Elizabeth Jeffers and husband Waylon; as well as countless other friends and family members, each of whom he cherished.
Alan’s request was cremation.
