Angela Lloyd

Angela Lloyd, age 47 of the Norma community, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at her home. Born in Oak Ridge, TN on December 9, 1977, she was the daughter of the late Ilene Lawson Lloyd and Jimmy Ray Loyd.

Angela was a very sweet, loving person and adored and loved both of her children. She was never hesitant about telling anyone that she loved them. She enjoyed collecting lighthouses and Star Wars items and her favorite color was always blue. She loved making jokes and having fun. Angela accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior in August of 1986 at the Norma Missionary Baptist Church and soon after was baptized.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Everett and Illa Lloyd Lawson and Marion and Lucille Harness Loyd, all of Norma, TN.

Angela is survived by her father, Jimmy Ray Loyd; son, Caleb Andrew Carroll and daughter, Bella Larae Smithers; sister, Lisa Lloyd; brother, Jeff Lloyd and wife Marilyn; niece, Jessie Lloyd Dazey and husband Robbie; nephew, Jeff and Sarah Lloyd; two nieces in Indiana, Hannah Summers and family and Elisabeth Yarnell and husband; several great nieces and nephews, many other close relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Lloyd family on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Lawson officiating. Music will be provided by Laura Beth Lloyd.

Committal service will follow in the Norma Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jeff Lloyd, Cody Laxton, Ronnie Lowe, Randy Lawson, Joe Lay, and Shawn McDonald.
