Anna Day Obituary

Anna Sue Day, age 79 of Helenwood, TN passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Born in Campbell County, TN on September 22, 1939, she was the daughter of the late James Lewallen and Nannie Crabtree. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Red Ash Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first spouse, Kermit Day and second spouse, J. Vernon Day; grandmother, Josie Crabtree; daughter, Karen Sue Cross; and daughter-in-law, Linda Day.

She is survived by her two children, Ivory Byrge and husband Ike and Paul Day and wife Floss; sister, Martha Russell; grandchildren, Maria Glenn, Marsha Ray, Misty Byrge, Little Paul Day, Stacey Lynn Jones, Nikki Christen, and Bradley Cross; great grandchildren, Kelsey, Christian, Cameron, Austin, Amber, Greyson, John Dillon, Kalee and Colton; and great, great grandchild, Levi Newport.

Friends may visit with the Day family on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Antioch Baptist Church at 12 p.m. with Bro. Carlie Duncan and Bro. Dudley Harness officiating. Music will be provided by the Antioch Singers. Burial will follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. Family will be serving as pallbearers.
