Anna Faye Brooks

Anna Faye (DeBord) Brooks, age 83 of Scott County, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born in Oneida, TN on May 3, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Abigia Keith DeBord and Georgia Ann DeBord. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Dale Brooks; brothers, Michael Ray DeBord, Kenneth DeBord, Jim DeBord, Bill DeBord, Bob DeBord, Pat DeBord and Buster DeBord; sisters, Bernice DeBord, Jewell DeBord, and June DeBord.

Faye is survived by her sons, Tommy Brooks, Mike Brooks, Gary (wife Becky) Brooks, and Jesse James DeBord; grandkids, Craig, Mandy, Paige, Joe, Bradly, Hannah, Emily, Chelsea, Rachael, and Keith, all special, but a very special granddaughter, Ashley Brooks; siblings, Betty Ellison, Jill Walker, Dan DeBord; “special sister,” Carolyn Rose DeBord; special friend, Kathy Henson;  many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Brooks family on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Lowe officiating. Music will be provided by Tommy Brooks and Jesse James DeBord.

Committal service will be on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 12 p.m. in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins. Pallbearers will be her sons: Tommy, Mike, and Gary Brooks and Jesse James DeBord.
