Anna Lee (Lawson) Sexton

Anna Lee Lawson Sexton, age 76 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab Center in Oneida.  Born February 19, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Dock and Daisy Coker Lawson.  She was a member of the Low Gap Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  W. C. Sexton; sisters:  Edna Lloyd, Rema Hughett, Mamie Harness, Violet Sexton, and Cora Lee Stephens; brothers:  Arnold Lawson, Robert Lawson and 3 infant brothers.

Anna Lee is survived by three sons she raised:  Michael Sexton and wife Nikkole, Mitchell Sexton, Jackie Hughett and Susie; grandchildren:  Jessica Hughett Chambers, and husband James, Amanda Hughett King and husband Brandon, Eric Sexton, Ember Sexton, and River Sexton; great grandchildren:  Morgan King, Leah Chambers, Wylloh Chambers, Dylan King, Jocey King, Avery King, Madison Stephens, Jordan Stephens, Xavier Lewallen, and Tatum Sexton; special nieces:  Margie Strunk and husband Pete, and Wanda Smith and husband Jack; and many other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Sexton family on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Lloyd officiating.  

Committal service will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:  Pete Strunk, Rick Harness, Jackie Smith, Eric Sexton, Benny Hughett, and River Sexton.  Honorary Pallbearers will be:  James Chambers and Brandon King.
