Barbara Fornash
Obituary
Barbara Lynn Duncan Fornash, daughter of Reverend Luther and Gertie Acres Duncan, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, June 8, 2023. Lynn gave her heart and life to Jesus at a young age at Mt. Zion Baptist church where she remained a member until her passing.
In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Fornash; her daughter, Linda Fornash Campbell; brothers, Melbert Acres, James, and David Duncan; one sister, Martha Sue Staten; nephews, Joey Bond, Jeff Kidd, and James "Bubby" Holt.
Lynn leaves to mourn her passing, her son, Anthony Earl Fornash and wife Angela; seven grandchildren; brothers, Joe Duncan, Joshua Duncan and wife Bonnie; sisters, Easter Toler, Ann Kidd, June Toomey and husband Dan, Mary Hall; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly, and many other family members and friends. Lynn loved her family unconditionally and her favorite saying was, "I love you, love you, love you!'' Her beautiful smile would light up the room because it came from her very heart and soul.
Graveside service will be on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at 3 p.m. in the Wilhite Cemetery in the Buffalo community with Bro. Jeff Dyer officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
