Barbara Jean (Boyatt) Bond

Barbara Jean (Boyatt) Bond, age 79, departed this life on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Tennova North Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronnie Bond; her parents, Jesse and Edna Boyatt and Everett and Audrey Danner who thought of her as their own.

She is survived by son, Trent Bond; daughter, Courtney Bond Sutton (Clay); a very special and dear friend, whom she thought of as her daughter, Alison Jeffers. She is also survived by Lynette Hamby (Danny), Brett Bond (Joyce), Brian Bond (Samantha), Jodi Bond and multiple grandkids and great grandchildren.

She was a loving nurse for over 30 years who leaves behind many other family members and friends she will be dearly missed by.

Friends may visit with the Bond family on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Kelvin Young officiating. Music will be provided by Daniel Murley.

Committal service will follow in the Carson Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Ray Slaven, Trent Bond, Tyler Chambers, Jason Pike, Matthew Hamby, and Anthony Perry.
