Barbara Sue (Madden) Garrett

Barbara Sue Madden Garrett, age 84 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the LaFollette Medical Center in LaFollette, TN.  Born April 4, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Coleman and Artie Phillips Madden.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oneida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers:  Donald, Wayne and Mike Madden.

Barbara loved her family and enjoyed caring for her children and grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 53 years:  Patrick B. Garrett; children:  Jerry Hamilton, Jimmy Davis, and Donnie Davis and wife Yolanda; sister:  Mary Lou Thomas and husband Steve; brother:  Ronnie Madden and wife Brenda; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.

Barbara’s wishes were cremation.  A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
