Benny Lee King

In loving memory of Benny Lee King, age 82 of Pioneer, TN, who passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Huntsville Post-Acute and Rehab Center. He was born on July 16, 1943. Benny was a faithful member of White Rock Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna King; father, Mac Yancey; wife, Martha King; one daughter, Ilda Lee King; two sons, Ricky Lynn King and Terry Lynn King; one brother-in-law, Artist King and wife Rose King; two nephews, Logan King and Dustin King; one cousin, Heather King; and special cousin like a brother, James Harold King.

Benny is survived by his nieces and nephews, Dimple and Jeffery Byrd, Loyd and Peggy King, Michael and April King, Travis and Kayla King, Autumn Skye King, Trevor Wilson, and Brooke Byrd; great-great nieces and nephews, Chester Wilson, Winter Wilson, Connie King, Ronnie King, Rose King, Gage King, Mkia Muse, Brianna, Jacob, and Nickolas Dilts; two special cousins, Charles King and Cosetta Phillips; two special ladies like sisters, Nella Fay King and Radyne Boyatt; special friend and cousin, Gary Yancey and wife Holly; family friend, Marvia Lynn Phillips. Benny leaves many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the King family on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. at the White Rock Baptist Church with Bro. Jim West and Bro. Jeff Davis officiating. Music will be provided by Witness For Jesus and Daniel Murley.

Committal service will follow in the Peaceful Rose Garden Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be: Gage King, Travis King, Michael King, Roy King, Milton King, and Keith Massengale. Honorary pallbearers will be: Alton Phillips, Gage Phillips, Nathen Phillips, and Charles King.
