Bernadene Lawson Obituary

Bernadene Botts Lawson, age 56, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the LaFollette Medical Center in LaFollette, Tennessee. Born May 13, 1966, she was the daughter of Bernard and Lily Ruth Presley Botts. Bernadene worked as a LPN and was a member of the Norma Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Steven and Bernard Michael Botts; niece: Misty Lane Strunk; nephew: Carrie Botts; first husband: Andrew Wilson; grandparents: John and Viola Botts, and Paul and Mary Presley; daughter-in-law: Christina Lawson.

Bernadene is survived by her husband: Benton Lawson; children: Pam Schilke and husband Rick of Norma, Michelle Massengale and husband J. C. of Pioneer, Aaron Lawson of Oneida, and Mitchell Lawson and wife Kalyn of Robbins; grandchildren: Marclyn Duncan, Paige Lawson, Katlyn Harness, Chelsea Richardson, McKenzie Terry (caregiver), Angel Terry, Abby Schilke, Arianna Lawson, Zack and Zander Morrow, Ashlynn Jones, Conner Lawson, and Cade Lawson; several great grandchildren; sisters: Linda Boshears and husband Curt of Fairview, and Loretta Pippin and husband Rick of Dalton, GA; brothers: Wayne Botts and wife Mildred of Fairview, Gary Botts of Helenwood, Jerry Botts and wife Leona of Dalton, GA, and Paul Botts and wife Tina of Helenwood; brothers-in-law: Howard and wife June Lawson, and Jimmy and wife Tammy Lawson; sisters-in-law: Wilma Jeffers and husband Claude, Thelma Silcox and husband Billy, and Barbara Jackson and husband Tim; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Lawson family on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. James Clifton Pennington and Bro. Dustin Pennington officiating. Music will be provided by Eric and Jessica Botts.

Committal service will follow in the Norma Cemetery in Huntsville, TN. Serving as pallbearers: Wayne Botts, Paul Botts, Aaron Lawson, Mitchell Lawson, Rick Schilke, and McKenzie Terry. Honorary Pallbearers: Gary Botts, Jerry Botts, Zack Morrow, Zander Morrow, and Conner Lawson.
