Betty Jean Strunk Obituary

Betty Jean Newport Strunk, age 76 of Helenwood, TN passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, at her home in Helenwood, TN. Born in Oneida, TN on July 14, 1946. Betty was the daughter of the late Earnest and Dallas Sexton Newport.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Mark Strunk and many family members and friends.

She is survived by her son: David W. Strunk; grandsons: Tyler Strunk (Billie King), and Zachary Strunk; granddaughter: Samantha Strunk Myer; great-grand daughter: Luna Strunk and Hunter Chase Myer; the father of her children: Charles (Sandy) Strunk; cousins: Vickie Bowling, Joe Reed, Rita Sexton and Eva Sexton, and many other precious family and friends.

Friends may visit with the Strunk family on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Smithers officiating.

Committal service will be on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Todd Sexton Cemetery in Robbins, TN. Pallbearers will be: Dalton Terry, Tyler Strunk, Gavin Terry, Bobby Grey, River Grey, and Joe Reed.
