Betty Sue Beaty King went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2021. Born on July 3, 1941 in the Helena Community of Jamestown, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Ethel Wright Beaty. Betty was a born again child of God. Her desire was to see all her loved ones saved so they could join her in Heaven. She loved the Lord and looked forward to seeing him face to face and being reunited with family in Heaven.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Ashley Mae King; infant sister Bobby Ruth Beaty; infant brother Shelby Gradis Beaty; sister Barbara Parks Wright; nephews Mike and Lee Parks.
She is survived by Rev Tommy King; sons: Rick King and Shanda Chitwood and Sean King and wife Melissa; special nephew that she considered a son Darren Beaty and wife Jackie; Betty loved all her family, but she always said, “there is just something about grandkids. I just live to see them come in the door.” Granny’s darlings as she called them are: Brittney, RJ, Grant and Levi King, Keisha Posey Blevins and; Justin Losey; great grandkids: Brayden, Kyndyl, Journey, J and Joey; a sister Brenda Sam; brother Jack Beaty; very special niece Ruth Ann Sam; nieces and nephews: Lisa Jackson, Dewayne Beaty and Preston Beaty; several great nieces and nephews; a dear friend who is like a daughter to her Eva Partin; she also leaves behind many other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.
