Beulah Agnes (Lovett) Dixon, age 86, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Woodland Terrace of New Palestine. She was born in Winfield, Tennessee on February 12, 1939, to James Jessie and Millie (Lay) Lovett. She graduated from Oneida High School in 1957. Agnes then studied at the Baptist Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee, trained as a nurse, and graduated in 1959.
After graduation Agnes stayed at Baptist Hospital and worked as a registered nurse for several years. After retiring from nursing, Agnes moved to Florida, where she owned and operated her own antique shop until her retirement. In her free time, Agnes enjoyed traveling around Europe. She had a passion for antiquing, and she loved living in Florida.
She is survived by her sister, Anna Terry of Indianapolis; nieces, Dianne Ralston of Indianapolis and Jami (Ted) Pearson of Camby; nephew, Mark (Jennifer) Terry of Indianapolis; and eight great nieces and nephews, Heather, Nathan, Teddy, Sarah, Amelia, Elliott, Sophie, and Levi. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Millie Lovett; brother-in-law, James Terry; and nephew, David Ralston.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Carson Memorial Park in Oneida, Tennessee.
