Billy Joe Byrge

Billy Joe Byrge, age 32 of Helenwood, TN gained his wings on Monday, February 17, 2025, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Scott County, TN on April 29, 1992, to the late Joann (Pennington) Byrge and the late David Lowe.

Billy will be remembered as a handsome, smart, funny, loyal, kind and caring husband, dad, brother, son, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He was a compassionate husband/empathetic best friend and an exceptional father. He loved to be outdoors. You could always find him washing a vehicle, playing ‘birdie’ ball or cornhole with his kids and mowing. His passion was lawncare. He was eager to start his own lawncare business. He was entertained by watching Friday night smackdown and Monday night Raw with his family. He was part of the Gator Nation. He enjoyed tattoos, rock music, and Summer. He had a beautiful soul. He will be loved and missed but never forgotten.

He was reunited with his mother, his brothers, Gary Dewayne Pennington, James “Jimmy” Clifton Byrge; papaw, Virgil Pennington; and mother-in-law, Shelia Strunk.

He left behind his wife, Veronica (Strunk) Byrge, with a deeply dedicated 10 years of marriage; his children: “the man of the house” Easton Babb, his “mini me” Benton Byrge, “daddy’s little Lilly Bug” Lilly Byrge, and Raelyn Brooks; brother, Bobby Byrge and fiancée Amber Smith; sister-in-law, Tasha Strunk and fiancé Jordan Skeen; brother-in-law, Eric Strunk and wife Bobbi; father-in-law, Michael Strunk; nieces and nephews, Brooklyn Smith, Elijah and Isaiah Byrge (and one on the way) Jaegar Strunk, Emma and Noah Strunk; great niece and nephew, Iris Strunk and Gabriel Strunk; many other family members and friends.

Billy will be cremated.
