Buford R. 'Bubba' 'Stargazer' Webb, Jr.

Buford R. ‘Bubba’ ‘Stargazer’ Webb, Jr., age 57, of Oneida, TN, departed this life on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at his home with his family by his side. Born July 31, 1967, in Dearborn, MI, he was the son of the late Buford R. Webb, Sr. and Helen Sue Silcox Webb.  He was a member of the Heartland Full Gospel Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister:  Ronda Watson; nieces:  Tiffany Stanley and Amy Nicole Walden; mother and father-in-law:  Robert and Veda Watson; and brother-in-law:  Jeffrey Watson.

Buford is survived by his wife:  Lucille Watson Webb; son:  Joseph Stephens of Oneida; daughter Teresa Spenlau and husband Ron of Sevierville; sister: Shonda Lewallen of Helenwood; brothers:  Rodney (Janette) Silcox of Georgia, Jack (Pam) Webb of Helenwood, and James (Valerie) Webb of Annadale; five grandchildren:  Noah, Joshua, Elizabeth, Jakaylin and Ryker; special friends:  Mary, Steve, Doc and the late Lou Hall; as well as many other family members and friends.

The family would like to convey special thanks to New Hope, Amedisys and U. T. Hospice for their care during his sickness.

Friends may visit with the Webb family on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Carlie Duncan and Bro. Bradley Kidd officiating.  Music will be provided by the Antioch Singers. 

Committal service will follow in the Rob Watson Cemetery in the Foster Crossroads Community of Oneida, TN.  Pallbearers will be:  Joseph Stephens, Wayne, Jason, Mickey, Derek and Donald Watson.  Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Scotty Watson, Grover Nelson, James Webb and Mike Chambers.
