Carl Daniel Sexton, age 72 of Winfield, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. He was born on January 28, 1953. Carl was a member of Big Ridge Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, L.C. Sexton; mother, Erna Lee Scott; stepfather, Danny Scott; grandparents, John Riley and Hattie Sexton and Florence and Bill Harvey.

Carl is survived by his wife, Paula VanHook Sexton; son, Shawn Sexton; daughter, Shannon Sexton; sisters, Patricia Marlene Hicks, Athea Kay Mendez, and Joyce Ward; stepsons, Danny and Charles Posey and Chris Porter; grandchildren, Bradley, Decarlious, William and Jaida; step-grandson, Jasper Porter; special friend, Ivory Sexton; many other family members and friends.

His request was cremation.
