Carla Lynn Morris Obituary

Carla Lynn Morris, age 56 of Gaston, South Carolina and previously of Winfield, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, at home. She was born on September 18, 1966, in Covington, Kentucky to Carl and Dorthy Anderson.

She is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Dorthy Anderson; sister, Wanda Albee; brother, Russell Frederick Jr.; nephew, Jason Mitchem; and special friend, Kathy McFarland.

She is survived by husband, L.B. Morris Jr.; children, Alisha Anderson, Jackie and husband Joe Fortin, Coty Morris, and Desarae Reynolds; grandchildren, Jaxan and Alexa Trammel, Tatum Posey, Daniel Wallace, Alex Fortin, Carliee and Kaiden Morris and Riley Odell; nieces and nephew, Olivia Mitchem, Jessica Frederick, and Rusty Frederick; great nieces and nephew, Haleigh and Payton Mitchem and Carter Simpson.

Graveside service will be on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Kingtown Cemetery with Bro. Wayne King officiating followed by a memorial service at Winfield Baptist Church fellowship hall. All friends and family are welcome.
