Carolyn Sue (Smith) Trammell

Carolyn Sue Smith Trammell, age 64, of Winfield, TN., went home to be with her Lord on Monday, August 15, 2022. Born on November 26, 1957, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Rev. Sherman Smith and Beulah Posey Smith. She was a member and choir leader at the Clay Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a long-time employee of the Oneida Special School District.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her sister: Judy Duncan.
 
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 46 years: Darrell Trammell; sons: Daniel Trammell of Ohio, Shane Trammell and wife Trish of Oneida, Travis Trammell and wife Rachel of Powell; daughter: Rachael Wilson and husband Curt of Tellico Plains; grandchildren: Gavin, Ethan, Lochlon, Kalob, Karisa, Cooper, Noah, Jonah, Eden, Rowan; great granddaughter:  Allana; and other family members and friends. 

Friends may visit with the Trammell family on Thursday, August 18, 2022, in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 8 p.m. with Bro. Mark Smith and Bro. Robert Blankenship officiating. 

Committal service will be on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. in the Trammell Cemetery in Winfield, TN. Pallbearers will be: Curt Wilson, Gary Lawson, Darrel Smith Jr., Rick King, Herman Trammell Jr., Wendell Trammell, Robert Stanley, and Caleb Day.
