Charles Duvall

Charles Duvall, age 89 of the Niggs Creek Community in Oneida, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his home with his family by his side.  Born November 9, 1932, in Gernt, Fentress County, TN, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Etta Dishman Duvall.

Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean War.  He was a long-time employee of the Scott Farmers Coop from 1957 to 2002; and served as an election commission board member.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Zula and Mildred; and brother: Dallas Duvall.

Charles is survived by his wife: Alma Burchfield Duvall; sons: Hank Duvall and wife Carolyn; Edd Duvall and wife Lisa, and Troy Duvall; grandchildren: Aaron Duvall, Eddy Duvall and wife Serena, Kelli Miller and husband Jake, Paul Lupo and wife Megan; great grandkids: Connor Miller, Luke Miller, Callie Miller, Shekenah Duvall, Hadassah Duvall, Olivia Lupo. Sofia Lupo; several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends to mourn his passing. Special thanks to Dr. Josh Thompson, Hospice and Crystal Lewallen.

Friends may visit with the Duvall family on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jim West officiating. Music will be provided by: Charles King Group.

Burial will follow in the Smith Forbis Cemetery.
