Charles A. (Charlie/Chuck) Condie, age 82, of Oneida, TN, formerly of Sewickley, PA and Aliquippa, PA, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at his home after a brief illness. He was a wonderful husband, father, stepfather, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed by his beloved family.
Before moving to Oneida in 2008, he worked in Broadcasting in the Pittsburgh, PA area for 43 years. He retired from WPXI-TV (WIIC-TV) after 38 years. Charlie was born in Pittsburgh, PA and raised in Aliquippa, PA until he was married. He graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1962 and Electronic Institute in 1963. He held a Radio Telephone First Class License with Radar Endorsement. In addition to his parents, William A. and Catherine Condie, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Dale Condie, and his first wife of 33 years, Jeanne G. Condie.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, M. Carol (Devlin/Fiala) Condie of Oneida, TN; sons, John A. Condie (Pam) of Grand Rapids, MI, and William A. Condie (KJ) of Freeport, FL; stepson, Robert L. Fiala (Justine) of Bellmawr, NJ; grandchildren, Sydney Wiseman (Nick), Samantha Lindhome (Andrew), Alexandra Lorson (Dan), Tanner Condie; step-grandson, Jacob Fiala, and step-granddaughters, Lilian R. Stahl-Fiala, and Allison Nulph (Max); 2 great grandsons; one great granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Charlie was a member of the Doric Masonic Lodge#630 in Sewickley, PA, where he was a member for over 50 years. He was also a member of the Oneida Masonic Lodge #695 where he was a Past Master in 2013 and 2017, a member of the Kerbella Shriners in Knoxville, TN, a member of Sunshine Chapter #279 Order of Eastern Star in Robbins, TN, a member of Sapphire Chapter #259 Order of Eastern Star in Oneida, TN, a member of the Rugby Methodist Church in Elgin, TN, a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, a member of ARRL and Big South Fork Amateur Radio Club, and was licensed in Pittsburgh, PA as K3HGR and changed to W4IIC when he moved to TN, and was an active amateur radio operator for 67 years.

Friends may visit with the Condie family on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until time of Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Todd Cemetery with Sister Brenda Tate officiating. Pallbearers will be his Masonic Brethren.
