Charles "Chuck" Byrd

Charles “Chuck” Byrd, age 79 of Oneida, TN passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. He was born in GA on March 5, 1944. Charles was a Vietnam vet.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie A. Byrd; daughter, Deborah Smith-Hernicz; and sons, Charles Byrd, Michael Brow, and Robert Brow.

Charles is survived by his children, Barbara, Patty, Connie, Kathy, Jimmy, and Brenda; special grandchildren: Julie Smith (Tim), Sarah (Tim) Lambert, Michael Hernicz, and Adam Hernicz; grandchildren: Christina and Teresa, Steven, Nicole, Jacob, Levi, Sally, and John, Jessie, Mikie, Jason, and Jennifer, David and Jennifer, Roger and Ashley; many great grandchildren; close friends, Mike Hernicz and Roger Stewart; many other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff of Oneida Nursing and Rehab and his special nurse, Vickie Miller.

His request was for cremation.
