Christel Bianca Newport

Christel Bianca Newport, age 68 of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, at her home. She was born on November 20, 1956. Christel grew up in Cherry Hill Park in Knoxville, Tennessee and was a graduate of West High School and went on to graduate from ETSU in Johnson City.  Christel began her career as a paralegal and later assumed ownership of Newport Consulting. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin P. Newport and Velma K. Newport.

Christel is survived by her brother, Calvin P Newport II; nephew, Calvin (Trey} Newport III (Madison); great niece, Elleanor; great nephew; Phillip Smith. she also leaves other relatives and friends.

A Graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. in the Cooper Memorial Gardens in Oneida.
