Chrystal "Chris" Hicks

Chrystal “Chris” Clara Hicks, age 81 of Winfield, TN passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born in Winfield, TN on December 22, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Thelma Sauls. Chris enjoyed traveling to listen to music at Renfro Valley, playing solitaire, spending time with her grandchildren, walking in the woods and flea-marketing with Gary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Deborah Hicks Dunn, David Hicks, both of Winfield, TN, Bobbie Brown of Virginia, Keith Westley Hicks and Donnie Hicks of Winfield; grandchildren, Dustin Wade Terry, LaChesia Hicks, and Joanie Hicks; and great grandchild, Landon Terry.

Chris is survived by her spouse and partner in crime, Gary Olinger; children, Sandra Sharpe and husband Tim Sharpe of Oneida, Sherrie Corder of Florida, Steve Hicks and wife Angel Hicks of Oneida and Kevin Hicks and wife Vanessa of Oneida; grandchildren, Derek Sharpe, Jamie and Chuckie Phillips, Pennie Corder, Jessica Terry, Ashley Anderson, Steven Hicks, Brandon Hicks, Mathew Hicks, Dwane Kidd, Eric Hicks, Angela Shoopman, Ken Vanderpool, Robi Terry, Greg Hicks, Christina Hicks and Tiffany Brown; many great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Crabtree and Beulah Griffith, both of Winfield; brother, Roy Sauls of Winfield; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 4 p.m. in the Cross Cemetery in Winfield with Bro. John Johnson officiating. Music will be provided by Steve Hicks and Kevin Hicks.
