Cindy Smith Obituary

Cindy Lou Smith, age 65 of Robbins, TN passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, TN. Born on September 7, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Shirley Gibson. Cindy was a member of Little Charity Ministries. She loved going to church and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Smith; grandson, Chris Cooper; sister, Kathy Oliver; brother, Tracy Gibson; and special friends Ann Byrge and Lana Krauth.

Cindy is survived by her children, Dennis Myers and wife Kelly, Mary Cooper, Shirley Garrett and husband Ronnie, Lana Myers and Jeffrey Acres, Derek Ellis, Brian Ellis, and Tracy Ellis; brothers, Mike Gibson and wife Sherry, Billy Gibson, and Tony Gibson; sister, Honey Gibson; grandchildren, Tyler Myers, C.J. Garrett, Kaylee Garrett, Lucas Myers, Haley Myers, Kelsey Garber, Zeth Garber, J.R. Hall, Matt Hall, Denny Cooper, and Savannah Cooper; great grandkids, Oakley Lowe and Baby Myers; special friends, Daniel and Angie Woods and church family, Dennis Myers, Jeff Myers, Barbara Byrge, Tommy Young; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Smith family on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Woods officiating. Music will be provided by Dalyn Neal.

Committal service will be on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Pike Family Cemetery in the Tunnel Hill Community. Pallbearers will be: Zeth, Tyler, C.J., Lucas, Baldy, Denny, Blake, and Kenny.
