Cleda Rose Jeffers

Cleda Rose Jeffers, age 84 of Helenwood, TN passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was born on November 15, 1936.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alonzo Byrd and second husband, John Archey Duncan; father and mother, Fred and Mae Stephens; infant sister, Wilma Sue Stephens; sister, Juanita (Stephens) Smith; and in-law, Clifford Smith.

Cleda is survived by her sister, Shirley Faye (Stephens) Patterson; in-law, Mathis Chandler Patterson; nieces and nephews, Carol Sue Smith, Clifford Randall Smith, Patrick Lynn Patterson, and Trina Michelle Patterson; two special cousins, Arnold and Lloyd Stephens and their families; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Jeffers family on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Dudley Harness officiating. Music will be provided by Arnold and Lloyd Stephens.

Committal service will follow in the private Byrd Cemetery in Helenwood.
