Dale Alan Douglas

Dale Alan Douglas, age 64 of Winfield, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, at his home.  Born January 13, 1958, he was the son of the late Cecil and Pauline Chitwood Douglas.

Dale was a beloved grandfather, father, brother, and son. In his younger years, Dale traveled across the US on the hunt for big game and fly fishing. After countless adventures and numerous states, he always managed to return with a trophy or story to tell. Dale became a grandfather and forever became known as Pappy. Dale spent every moment he could with his grandchildren sharing his stories and his love for the outdoors with them. Dale was a member of the Winfield Baptist Church and a born-again Christian who never missed a chance to help when needed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother:   Richard Dean ‘Ricky’ Douglas.

Dale is survived by his son Adam & wife Dedra Douglas, Grandchildren Adysan, Braleigh, and Casen, Brothers Danny & wife Misty Douglas, Kevin Douglas, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Friends may visit with the Douglas family on Saturday, May 28, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Laxton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Chitwood-Douglas Cemetery in Winfield, TN.  Pallbearers Gary Reed, Russ Boyatt, Adam Douglas, Dustin Douglas, Rhyne Douglas, and Logan Douglas. Honorary pallbearer Casen Douglas.
