Daniel Taylor

Mike Daniel Taylor, age 71, of Winfield, TN passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. He was born on January 30, 1950, to the late Barney E. and Doris Tootsie Taylor. 

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sisters: Emma Gail Taylor, Gloria Taylor, and Marilynn Taylor; brothers: William Paul Taylor, Stanley Taylor, and Glenn Cook.

Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years, Haley Lowe Taylor; children: Elizabeth Taylor of Winfield, TN, Magalene Taylor of Winfield, TN, Danny Taylor of Huntsville, TN, Randy Taylor and wife April of Winfield, TN, Butch Taylor and wife Lisa of Harriman, TN, and Mitchell Taylor of Knoxville, TN, Lonnie Russell of Huntsville Tn;  sisters: Kathy Sue Carson of Huntsville, TN, Donna K. Moss and husband David of Ellizah, GA; brothers: James Taylor and wife Dorthy of Oneida, TN, Sammy Taylor and wife Ollie of Petros, TN, Mark Taylor and wife Joanne of Chatsworth, GA, Larry Taylor and wife Reda of Dalton, GA, Billy Taylor and wife Tearsa of Chatsworth, GA, Tim Taylor and wife Debbie of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandchildren: James Daniel Taylor, Eli Taylor, 21 step-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a host of friends.

Friends may visit with the Taylor family on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 5 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6 pm in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Carlie Duncan and Bro. Dudley Harness officiating.  Music will be provided by the Singing Hamby’s.   

Committal service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 10 am in the Union Hill Cemetery in Sunbright, TN.
