Danny Ray Terry

Danny Ray Terry departed this world on Monday, April 7, 2025. He was born on February 10, 1956, to the late James Esker "Eck" Terry and Gertrude Marcum Terry.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his oldest daughter Nikkia Terry, brother Junior Terry, and brother-in-law, Benny Carson. 

He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth (Terry) Laxton and husband Travis; son Travis Terry and wife Lacey; granddaughters Abrielle, Lily, Alison, NiRaea, Dannyce, and Mila; grandson Finn; sisters Linda (Terry) Malone and husband Charlie, Debbie (Terry) Anderson and husband Al, Lisa (Terry) Carson; sister-in-law Kathy (Blevins) Terry; many other relatives and friends.

DT (as he was known to most) was a generous man of simple pleasures. He found great joy in helping others and was a real "shirt off his back" type of man. He could normally be found on the lawn mower or tractor, whether it was tending to his own land or that of others. DT will leave a legacy of generosity that those close to him will cherish for days to come, and he will be dearly missed.

The family’s request was cremation.
