Delayne Dodson

Delayne Stephens Dodson, age 57 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.  Born April 2, 1964 in Oneida, she was the daughter of the late Priscilla Davis Chambers and George Chambers.  Delayne was a member of the Winfield Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Tiffany Deshaun Baird; and son:  Benjamin Lane Baird.

Delayne is survived by her daughter:  Tia Alene Baird; grandchildren:  Garett Ryan Baird, Aleah Grace Hatfield, and Emmie Rose Baird; brothers:  Rick (Karen) Stephens, and Bruce Stephens; sister:  Debi (Carl) Moore; nieces:  Joy Silcox, Taylor Summers, Chasity Jeffers, Lorie Graham, and Maranda Carmichael; nephew:  Joe Moore; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 6, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Sewell officiating.  Music will be provided by:  Marcy Thomas and Israel Clark.

Committal service will follow in Carson Memorial Park in Oneida, TN.  

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.  Masks are required.
