Delbert Jeffers

Delbert Jeffers, Sr., age 75, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 18, 2023.  He was the son of the late Ezra and Arizona Hamblin Jeffers, and was a member of the Amazing Grace Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Brenda Sue Phillips Jeffers; brother:  O B Jeffers; sisters:  Betty Jeffers and Nola Jeffers Phillips; and son-in-law:  Luke Hill.

Delbert is survived by his son:  Delbert Jeffers, Jr.; daughter:  Pamela Sue Hill; grandchildren:  Jonathon Hill and wife Alena, Jessica Hill and boyfriend Shawn King, and Roman Jeffers; great grandkids:  Braydon, Riley and Briar Hill, Jerica Lowe, Lucas Washam, and Noah Washam; siblings:  Bud Jeffers, Glen Jeffers and wife Carolyn, Tom Jeffers and girlfriend Melissa Chambers, Cindy Terry, Lillian Jeffers, Cora Rich and Louise Jones; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Jeffers family on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Jones & Son Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Golden officiating.  Committal service will follow in the Phillips Cemetery in the Cherry Fork Community.
