Dennis Rolee McGhee

Dennis Rolee McGhee, age 65 of the Paint Rock Community of Oneida, TN, departed this life on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN with his loving family by his side.  Born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 23, 1956, he was the son of Wilma McGhee and the late Delore McGhee.  Dennis was an employee of the Town of Oneida for 31 years.

In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Alvis and Bessie Yancey, and Mack and Martha Jane McGhee; father and mother-in-law:  Leland and Helen Duncan; and sister-in-law:  Lucille Smith.

In addition to his mother, Dennis is survived by his wife of 43 years:  Margie Duncan McGhee; 2 sons:  Lance McGhee and wife Denise, and Adam McGhee (Michelle); daughter:  Patricia Kidd (Steve); grandchildren:  Tyler, Jake, Laileigh, Aiden, Dustie, Cameron, Jack, Finnley, Fisher, Lucas, and James; great grandson: ; Teegan; 2 sisters:  Linda Byrge (Bill), and Chark Orick; brothers and sisters-in-laws:  Delbert Duncan (Shirley), Kitten Seabolt (Wayne), Nancy Duncan (Estel), and Herbert Smith; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the McGhee family on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jennings Terry and Bro. Sammy Yancey officiating.  Music will be provided by Kandi and Zane Roberts.

Committal service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the Peaceful Rose Garden Cemetery.  The Town of Oneida Street Department will serve as Pallbearers.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Delbert Duncan and Elbert Massengale.
