Doris Jean Wilson

Doris Jean Wilson, age 80 of Winfield, Tennessee, lost her courageous battle and gained her angel wings on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her daughter's home in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was born on May 4, 1939 in Winfield, Tennessee to the late Stella May (Maxey) and Charles Robert Chitwood.

She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and sister who enjoyed planting flowers around her home.  She retired from Diamond Chain in Indianapolis, Indiana.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband James Ned Wilson; her siblings: Cecil Chitwood, Marshall Chitwood, Shirley Pergram, Frances Newport, Paul Anderson, Eugene Anderson, and Homer Anderson.

She is survived by her children: Keith Wayne Wilson, James David Wilson, Rhonda Sue Wilson, Sheila Ann Walters, Matthew Wilson, and Mark Wilson; her sister Hellen Allen; her brother Robert Chitwood; 22 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

A private family graveside service will be at the Chitwood Cemetery.
