Dwayne Smith

Dwayne Smith, age 61 of Oneida, TN departed this life on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Born on December 13, 1963, in Oneida, TN, he was the son of the late John Quincy Smith, Jr. and Wilma Jean Litton Smith. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Black Oak Baptist Church.

Dwayne is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cindy Smith; son, Brandon Smith and wife Mandy of Winfield; 5 grandchildren, Harper Lee Smith, Gunner Smith, Chesney Burchfield, Paisley Trosper and Presley Burchfield; brother, Scott Smith and wife Marty of LaFollette, TN; nephew, Jonathan Lewallen of Knoxville, TN; nieces, Chelsey Dixon and Lindsey Dixon of Somerset, KY; in-laws, David Storie and wife Myrtle of Stearns, KY; sister-in-law, Tammy Dixon; his special dog, Rowdy; and many other family members and close friends.

Dwayne’s final wishes were cremation.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Huntsville with Bro. Ashley Ellis officiating.
