Edward James (EJ) Kennedy, age 41 of Jellico, TN passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025. He was born on February 4, 1984, in Jellico, TN.

EJ was always doing for others and putting his family first. He loved his wife and two beautiful daughters. He was always showing off his beautiful babies to everyone. He was such a free-spirited person. He was so loved by everyone he came in contact with especially his wife and children and his family. He will always be remembered and may he soar on the wings of an eagle forever loved and missed.

EJ was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Kennedy and mother, Linda Susan Kennedy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brittany Nicole Kennedy; two beautiful daughters, Blueonna Eliza Sue Joyce Kennedy and Layla May Roselyn Kennedy; siblings, Gale Smith, Arthur and Theresa Smith, William Kennedy, and Michael Kennedy; nieces, Jazzmine Huffman, Nicole Smith, Amber Chrystal, and Erika Brock; special friends, Marilynn and Richard Ross; adopted sister, Marcia Davis a.k.a. Muddflap; and a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

EJ’s request was cremation.
