Elizabeth Bowling Lloyd

Elizabeth Bowling Lloyd, age 76 of the Helenwood community passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at her home. Born in Scott County, TN on September 10, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Sampson and Watsie Smith Bowling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence (Eddie) Lloyd; daughters, Vivian Kay Sexton and Miranda Jo Lowe; brothers, Ralph, Lloyd Ray, and Ross Bowling; sisters, Flonnie York, Wilma Bee, and infant sisters, Ester and Annie Bowling.

Liz is survived by her children, Benny Lloyd and Sandra Lloyd Byrd; brother, Floyd Bowling and wife Wanda; sister, Loretta Hamby; sisters-in-law, Mary Byrd and husband Ray, Toni Marlow and husband Cecil, Lorene Bowling, Kathern Bowling and Bobbi Lloyd. Liz is also survived by 10 grandkids, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; special friend, Jimmy Byrd and wife Tammy; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Lloyd family on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Carlie Duncan officating. Music will be provided by Victory Bluegrass.

Committal service will follow in the Daniel Memorial Cemetery in Helenwood.
