Ella Chambers

Julie Ella Chambers, age 76 of Helenwood, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Scott County, TN on July 21, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Taft and Febie Watson Terry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Chambers; son, Timothy Chambers; brothers, infant James Terry and Milford Terry; and sister, Marie Honeycutt.

Ella is survived by her husband of 61 years, Homer Chambers; 4 children, Sue Thompson and husband Mark of Helenwood, TN, Jan Walker of Stearns, KY, Jay Chambers of Helenwood, TN and Julie Foster of Oneida, TN; 5 brothers, Clayten Terry and wife Mae of Indiana, Hurstle Terry and wife Phyllis of Oneida, Jimmy Terry and wife Debbie of Oneida, Marshall Terry and wife Patricia of Oneida and Chuck Terry of Oneida; 1 sister, Irene Terry of Oneida; several grandchildren, Tammy, Lori, April, Robin, Annie, Mickey, Jay, Mary and Santina; great grandchildren, Hannah, Marlana, Emily, Koda, Kalie, Tawanna, Johnathon, Andrew, Colt, Zoey, Jeremiah, Bryson, William, Lillian, Baileigh, Jacob, Donna Jo and Ethan; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Chambers family on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Phillips officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Scott County Memorial Gardens in Oneida.
