Francine Douglas Litton Obituary

Francine Douglas Litton, fondly known as “Bo”, 92, went to be with her Savior on Friday, September 6th,
2024 at her home in Greeneville, TN. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

She was born in Oneida, TN to Willie and Pearlie Douglas. Francine accepted Christ at a very young age
and was a faithful servant of the Lord throughout her entire life. In December of 1948, she married her
soul mate, Donald Litton, and they were blessed to celebrate 71 years of marriage before Don’s passing
in 2020.

Francine was a loving and faithful wife, serving alongside her husband as an Army wife for over 24 years.
Moving from base to base, she always made a house a home while raising their four children.

After leaving Army life, Francine and Don settled in Sumerduck, VA. She began a career as a school bus
driver for Fauquier County Public Schools serving for over 24 years.

In 2002, they relocated to Greeneville, TN where they enjoyed their retirement years with their family
and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Milford, Ralph,
Pete, and Homer Douglas, sister, Ellen Douglas. Her daughter, Cheryl Shelton. Her Grandchildren,
Kristi Younce, Tara Litton, and Jeb Litton.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Kathy (Rick) Younce, Hal (Karen) Litton, and Lisa (Tim)
Belcher.

Her grandchildren: Mike Younce, Elizabeth Eminisor, Kendall Litton, Ryan Litton, Jordan (Matt)
Rosenbaum.

Her great-grandchildren: Adam (Shelby) Eminisor, Tyler Younce, Caleb and Avery Dhanraj, Xander
Whitehurst, Morgan and Hunter Litton.

Her great-great grandchildren: Oliver Corey, Isla, and Lennox Eminisor.

And her beloved kitty – Abby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pastor David Fox will be officiating a celebration of her life at the graveside on September 10, 2024, at
2:00 pm at Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery in Oneida, TN.
