Frankie J. Smith

Frankie Jean Smith, age 74 of Helenwood, Tennessee, departed this life on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Born in Harlan, KY on March 21, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elsie McCreary Pittman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Smith; 4 brothers, Clarence, Fred, Harold, and Johnny Pittman; 3 sisters, Lola Fey Pittman, Thelma Alexander, and Ruth Walker; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Stephens.

Frankie is survived by her children, Wayne Stephens, James Smith and wife Sherry, Cathy Jeffers and husband Jeff; brothers, Elmer Pittman and wife Sandy, Richard Pittman and wife Linda; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special friends, Ronald Stephens, Donna Kay Stephens and Carol Jeffers; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Smith family on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Griffith officiating. Music will be provided by the House of the Lord choir.

Committal service will follow in the Cut Cemetery in Helenwood.
