Freddie Sexton

Freddie Wayne Sexton, age 61 of Oneida, TN passed away at the Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. He was born in Fayetteville, NC on November 14, 1958. He was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Amber Nicole Sexton.

Freddie is survived by his wife, Myra Sexton; a son, Alexander Sexton of Somerset, KY; 3 daughters, Kaytee Telley and husband Darrius of Jacksonville, FL; Stephanie McLain and husband Paul of Hartselle, AL and Misty Moon of Meridianville, AL; his parents, Fred and Janice Sexton of Oneida, TN; one brother, Gary Sexton and wife Robin of Oneida, TN; one sister, Jill Davidson and husband Eric of Crossville, TN. Freddie is also survived by his most prized possession his grandchildren, Kensy, Ezrian and Kailynn Telley of Jacksonville, FL, Alyssa Putnam and Trey McLain of Hartselle, AL and Jaxson Lively of Meridianville, AL; special friend, Dave Mulligan; many other family members and his church family.

Friends may visit with the Sexton family on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Kidd and Bro. Dave Mulligan officiating. Music will be provided by Israel, Doris and Rayford Milligan of Moulton, AL.

Committal service will follow in the John Freeman Sexton Memorial Cemetery in the Phillips Flats community. Pallbearers will be: Mike Ross, Jeremy Wells, Jared Sexton, Jacob Burke, Jack McQueen and Wendall Dobbs.
