Freela 'Faye' (Stephens) Strunk

Freela ‘Faye’ Stephens Strunk, age 76 of Winfield, TN, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, March 23, 2026.  Faye was devoted to her forever love, Jim, for nearly 58 years and their five children.  She was a God-fearing prayer warrior and loved serving God beside her husband and family.  Her heart was full of love for all of her family.  Born October 3, 1949, in Winfield, she was the daughter of the late Edward William and Dorothy Alene Daugherty Stephens.  

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death and greeted in Heaven by many family members and friends whom she loved and longed to see, mainly her Lord and Savior Jesus and Christ.  

Faye is survived by her loving husband:  Jim; daughters:  Buffy (Wade) Cathers, Denise (Joe) Johnson, April Strunk, and Rebekah Strunk; son:  Scott (Mandy) Strunk; grandchildren:  Nicholas (Samantha) Cathers, Dwayne Cathers, Tiffany (Jerico) Stephens, Zachery (Gracelyn) Chambers, Blake and Braeden Hubbard, David Strunk, Samantha (Matt) Phillips, Ezra Chambers, Sadie and Jael Jeffers; great grandchildren:  Brantlee Chambers, Railee and Deslee Stephens, Zaelyn and Aiden Chambers, Maddie Phillips, Waylon and Oakley Cathers; and many other precious family members and friends.

Faye had the most loving, tender heart you could find.  She enjoyed caring for and spending time with her family.  Our lives have been richly blessed to have had her.  We will see you in the morning.  Love you bunches.

Friends may visit with the Strunk family on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 5:00 p.m. at the New Light Baptist Church in Winfield with Bro. Chase Lay and Bro. Lee Strunk officiating.

Committal service will follow in the New Light Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:  Scott Strunk, David Strunk, Nicholas Cathers, Dwayne Cathers, Zachery Chambers, and Jerico Stephens.
