Gage William Artist King, age 16, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents:  Artist and Rose King, and Herman Von Byrd; uncle:  Dustin King, cousins:  Logan and Randy; and great great uncle:  Benny King.

Gage is survived by his grandparents:  Jeffery and Dimple Byrd, Aaron and Angie Brummett, and Troy Webb; great grandparents:  Wilburn and Barbara Walker; parents:  Travis and Kayla King; brothers and sisters:  Connie, Ronnie and Rose King, Emma Phillips, and Cody Lowe; aunts and uncles:  Loyd and Peggy King, Michael and April King, Dewayne and Cristy Phillips, Matt and Jenny Young, James Creekmore and Stormey, Brook Byrd, James Jones, Scott Byrd, Steve and Connie Strunk, Jamie and Marti Byrd, Greg Byrd and Hanna Burchfield, Mark Byrd, Justin Lewis Brummett, Hayden and Dreama Webb; great aunts and uncles:  Leslie Byrd, Gary and Shelia Byrd, and Chester and Jolene Byrd; cousins:  Skye King, Trevor Wilson, Chester, Winter Wilson, Aliyah and Ayden Young, Mkia Muse, Brianna, Jacob, Nick Dilts, Charles King, Cossetta Phillips, very special friends:  Michael Hurst, Jacob Harness, Sadie Phillips and MaKenna Gibson; as well as a host of other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the King family on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Marcum and Bro. Jim West officiating.  Music will be provided by Tony Daugherty, Witnesses for Jesus, and Daniel Murley.

Committal service will follow in the King Private Cemetery in Helenwood, TN.  Pallbearers will be:  Honkey and Lewis King, Aaron Brummett, James Creekmore, Dewayne and Logan Phillips, Trevor Wilson and Josh Terry.  Honorary Pallbearers will be: Scott Bryson and Zac Newport.
