Gerald Hembree Obituary

Gerald David Hembree, age 79 of Huntsville, TN departed this life on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at his home. Born in Oneida, TN on September 25, 1944, he was the son of the late Rufus and Alma Hembree.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, JR and Anna Ruth Hembree, Howard Henry Hembree; sister, Mary Helen and Donald West; and an infant sister, Velda Sheryl.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Etta Hembree; son, Patrick David Hembree; sisters-in-law, Eloise Hembree of Indiana, Nancy and Willis Sexton, Dianne and David Duncan, all of Huntsville; aunt, Doris Carol McDonald; special nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 3 p.m. in the Mossop Cemetery in Huntsville with Rev. Dennis Falasco officiating. Music will be provided by Spencer Ellis. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
