Glen Alton Day Obituary

Glen Alton Day, age 63 of Oneida, TN departed this life on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at his home. Born in Scott County, TN on August 27, 1958, he was the son of the late Harrison Day and Rose Day.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harley Dean Day and Carlee Day; two sisters, Patrisha Anderson and Jannie Chambers; and one infant son, McKinley Day.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Day; two children, Joshua Day and Marilyn Day; two brothers, James Day and wife Kathy and Darrel Day and wife Patrisha; two sisters, Lodena Lowe and husband Lonas Lowe and Florena Day and husband Jackie Day; grandchildren, McKinley More, Katona Bowling, Jazzabella Crowder, Bryson Richmond, and Andrew Richmond; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Day family on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. David Brewster officiating. Music will be provided by the East Robbins Baptist choir.

Committal service will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Day Cemetery in the Annadell community. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
