Glennis Acres Obituary

Glennis Duncan Acres, age 74, of Huntsville, TN, passed away on Sunday September 12, 2021, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born in Norma, TN to the late Onvie and Imogene Duncan.

She was a loving wife, mother, and mamaw. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, grand kids, great-grandkids, and other family and friends whom she loved very much. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in death by her sister: Barbara Harness; and brother: Jimmy Duncan.

Glennis is survived by her husband: David Acres; children: James Lloyd, Anna Sexton, Ronnie Lloyd, George (Pam) Lloyd, Wilma Leib, and Dock Lloyd; brothers: David (Dianne) Duncan, Dilson (Blanch) Duncan, Billy (Nadine) Duncan, Denny (Debbie) Duncan, and Jackie (Connie) Duncan; sisters: Kay (Ted) Bowling, Patty (Johnny) Ballard; 18 grandkids; 13 great-grandkids; several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends of whom she loved. A special neighbor and friend Joyce Carson.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
