Glinn Willard 'Boots' Phillips, Sr.

Glinn Willard ‘Boots’ Phillips, Sr., age 85 of Robbins, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN.  Born May 26, 1939, he was the son of the late Thomas Lewallen and Ollie Phillips Lay.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife:  Irma Jean Kiser Phillips; son:  Thomas Lee ‘Turk’ Phillips and wife Eleanor Ann Phillips; sisters:  Ruby, Carolyn Claiborn, and Evelyn Lay; brothers:  Bill, Floyd ‘Curly’, James and Kenneth; and great granddaughter:  Paizlee Phillips. 

Glinn is survived by two sons:  Glinn Phillips, Jr. and wife Deloris, Steve Phillips and wife Vicky; daughter:  Mary Elizabeth (Libbi) Stephens; grandchildren:  Christina Halstead, Aubrey Phillips, Jessica Bell and Brandon, Olivia Phillips, Mike Phillips and Amanda, Daniel Phillips and Micah, and Thomas Phillips and Caitlyn; several great grandchildren; sister-in-law:  Laverne Phillips; special friends:  Dewayne and Dwight Human; and Glinn leaves many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Phillips family on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Mike Smithers and Bro. Jordan Hughett officiating.  

Committal service will follow in the Robbins Memorial Cemetery in Robbins, TN.
