Gregory Nakoneczny

Gregory Nakoneczny, age 69 of Pioneer, TN passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, at his home. Born in Detroit, Michigan on November 30, 1954, he was the son of the late Harry and Catherine Nakoneczny. He was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Christina Nakoneczny and brother, Larry Nakoneczny.

Greg is survived by his wife, Brenda Nakoneczny; daughter, Katie Waetjen (Steve); three sons, Charles Petty (Kristin), John Petty (Kristen), and Richard Petty; five grandchildren, Claire Waetjen, Leah, Landon, and Lydia Mann, and Colton Petty; brother, Dave Nakoneczny (Kathy); sister, Elizabeth Rais (Mike); many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins with Bro. Mike Carroll officiating. Music will be provided by Madison Jeffers and the Black Creek Baptist Church choir. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
