Gregory Dean Pierson

Gregory Dean Pierson, age 66 of Helenwood, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.  Born September 11, 1957, in Hartford City, IN, he was the son of Joan Futrell Pierson and the late Gerald Dean Pierson.

In addition to his mother, Joan Pierson, Greg is survived by his daughter:  Liza Dorsey and husband Brett; sister:  Debbie Forkner and husband Tom; three grandchildren; a niece and nephew; special friend:  Trista Burchfield; as well as other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Pierson family on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Burchfield officiating.  Music will be provided by Craig Dunford.

Committal service will follow in the Pike Cemetery in Helenwood, TN.  Pallbearers will be:  Dean Butler, Randy Butler, Steve Decot, Craig Dunford, Roger Roe and Seth Terry.
